Lucy Quatermaine has reported a substantial increase in sales via their website during lockdown and this year’s second quarter.

The award-winning jewellery designer, based in Cheshire, saw a 70% increase in sales per month compared to the previous year.

Quartermaine saw the largest sales increase of 77% in June, which coincided with the launch of their new website and its improved mobile user platform.

Sales in earrings, bracelets and anklets increased over the summer months, with the designer’s Drop and Teardrop collections also selling well.

Quartermaine said: ‘‘I was overwhelmed by the sales increase we have seen during lockdown, during such an uncertain time it is amazing to see so many brand ambassadors of our designs continue to build on their own collections.’’
