The Metropolitan Police have announced that they have made two further arrests in connection with the Hatton Garden raid case.
Police said another two suspects, a 58-year-old man and a 43-year-old man, were arrested yesterday afternoon on suspicion of conspiracy to burgle, bringing the total number of arrests up to nine.
The arrests follow the announcement yesterday that an initial seven were arrested and a large amount of property had been recovered in relation to the robbery which occurred at the Hatton Garden Safety Company over the Easter bank holiday weekend.
Scotland Yard said that all of the nine men have been taken to a London police station and remain in custody, with searches at the addresses still ongoing.
