IJL to feature Adolfo Courrier

Luxury by IJL has announced Adolfo Courrier will join the the selection of high-end jewellery brands in attendance at the new spin-off luxury show in London this year.

The news comes after Suzy Menkes, style editor of the International New York Times, named London “the New York of Europe”, a statement supported by the steady growth of luxury jewellery sales in the UK since 2007. The luxury end of the market represented £1.2bn in 2012, the most recent year for which figures have been compiled.

The latest forecast from Euromonitor reveals that luxury jewellery and watches will continue to grow, but that jewellery will outperform watches as consumer demand shifts.

Sam Willoughby, event director IJL and Luxury by IJL said: “2014 marks a real step forward for IJL with the launch of Luxury by IJL. The timing for this new event is perfect as London takes centre stage in the world of luxury and fashion and will offer the definitive showcase for the finest in high end jewellery.
