Harry Levy, president of the London Diamond Bourse (LDB), has begun serving another term as LDB president.

The decision was made through an election by the body’s council of management, held Thursday 3 April.

Harry Levy has served as LDB president since 2011, and currently also serves as president of Gem-A, vice president of the CIBJO Diamond Commission, chairman of the EU Commission CEN Nomenclature Standards for Diamonds, and was recently appointed chairman/president of International Diamond Council.

Following the elections outcome, during the first meeting of the incoming council of management, the executive committee was elected and unchanged.

In a statement, the LDB said it had had a “lively” election with 17 members standing to fill 11 positions. Three new members were also elected to the council.
