Holts Academy has revealed that it is partnering with jewellery brand Brown & Newirth to offer retailer training services through its Professional Retail Development Programme (PRDP).
The programme was launched earlier this yeah with the stated aim of “delivering affordable, flexible and specialist training for jewellery retailers”.
Lee Lucas, CEO and principal of Holts Academy, said: “Our Professional Retail Development Programme gives jewellery retailers the opportunity to train their employees to better their sales performance in a way that is completely tailored to the individual business needs.”
As part of the training Holts will offer a mystery shopper service, and retailers can create their own training programme by selecting modules covering over 50 different subjects – each one adaptable to deliver different levels of knowledge and skills. Holts said: “The training is face to face giving delegates the opportunity to practice in a safe environment, learning through experience.”
Lucas added: “This business-focused model mirrors the excellent individualised services that Brown & Newirth already offer their customers which is why we are happy to enter into an exclusive partnership with them. Our aspiration is that together we will help jewellery retailers around the UK maximise their profits.”
Director of Brown & Newirth, John Ball, said: “Having further cemented our partnership with Holts Academy, we continue to share the same vision of education and knowledge transfer within the Jewellery industry therefore, we are very excited to have committed to delivering Holts Retailer Development Programme to our retail customers.”
