Bering Time appoints Ian Latham new country manager

Danish brand Bering Time has appointed Ian Latham as its new UK country manager with immediate effect.

Ian has been part of Bering’s UK team since the brand first launched into the UK two years ago, during which time the company has built a presence spanning some 400 shops. In a statement, Bering said: “With an impressive portfolio of experience in the industry, Ian has been a vital asset in building [our] success and achieving the brand’s current positioning in the UK.”

Lars Skjønnemann, co-founder and president of has been “working closely” with Ian over the last few weeks and is “more than confident” that his new managerial position will ensure future growth. He said: “We have actively been working on a new structure for the UK that will meet the demands of our customers. Expectations are high with new plans and goals being implemented at the start of 2015.

“Ian was an extremely strong contender for the position, understanding the Bering DNA and eager to move us forward. I am extremely happy to welcome Ian to his new position and myself and the whole Bering team look forward to working alongside him immensely.”

The company already supplies around 400 specialist traders and jewellery stores, and is set to launch online in the next few weeks. The product portfolio has recently expanded into jewellery, with the launch of the already successful Artic Symphony Collection, while the watch collection remains a successful string to its bow.
