Sir Peter Blake, the artist best known for his Sgt. Pepper album cover for the Beatles, has created new artwork depicting an independent jeweller for the upcoming Small Business Saturday Event.
The artwork features Kaylie Urwin, manager of the Westerham retailer Flawless Jewellery, and is entitled ‘High Street Heroes’.
Urwin commented: “I am absolutely thrilled to be included in a piece of artwork created by such an iconic artist. Small Business Saturday is a great event, and initiatives such as this really draw attention to what a great job small businesses do.”
Small Business Saturday will take place on December 6, and encourages people to use their local businesses. The grassroots campaign is being supported by American Express.
