Holts Academy has appointed Anne Angell as its new managing director.

Angell was previously head of operations for the firm, and has a background in education and jewellery. The firm said in a statement that she “specialises in employability, training and skills provision for enhanced performance and quality. These skills will be focussing on improving quality and delivery as well as expanding Holts internationally.”

In the statement, Angell said: “I am very excited to be given this opportunity to lead the ambitious programme for the growth of Holts Academy within the industry and beyond. It is also a great pleasure to return to my roots in the jewellery trade.”

Jason Holt, founder of Holts Academy (and who has just been awarded with an CBE in the New Year’s honours list) said: “We are extremely excited to have found Anne who has a jewellery and education background and who has had a career setting up and building some of the highest performing training providers in the country.”
