Jewellery brand Bering Time has announced it will donate $15 to Polar Bears International for every one of its ‘Charity’ watches sold.

Bering has been campaigning for the conservation of this endangered species since 2011.

Polar Bears International’s current campaign is called ‘Save Our Sea Ice’.

Bering said: “Thanks to a series of lectures, discussions and special campaigns, for example on international Earth Day or the Kilowatt Challenge on Oceans Day, [the charity is] drawing attention to the endangered habitat of the polar bears and our entire ecosystem.

“At the same time solutions are being developed that deal with climate change, the warming Arctic and the endangered natural environment of the polar bears.”
