US-based London Jewelers is set to become the first jewellery retailer to stock the Apple Watch.
The luxury New York-based jewellers is set to stock the Apple Watch Edition, an 18ct gold model which currently retails in the range of $10,000 (£6,380) to $17,000 (£10,850).
The smartwatch, which had previously only been available online and and in official Apple stores, will be stocked at two of the company’s five locations, Manhasset and East Hampton, according to US jewellery trade magazine, JCK.
The company currently features a rotating banner of the Apple Watch Edition on its website, stating that the timepiece will be available in select stores from August 21, but has declined to give any further details.
It is not known if Apple plans to roll out the watch to further jewellery stores.
