CW Sellors Fine Jewellery has been awarded the Retail Excellence category in the Midlands Family Business Awards.
This is the third time the family run business has been shortlisted for the awards, garnering the ‘highly commended’ tag in the Manufacturing Excellence category in 2012 and for both Service Excellence & Family Business of the Year in 2011.
This is the first year the category of Retail Excellence has been introduced into the awards and CW Sellors designer Rebecca Sellors said: “We are absolutely delighted to have won this award – we pride ourselves on offering an unrivalled service to all of our customers and to be recognised in by this award is a real honour, especially at a time when we are working on our new proposed project near Carsington Reservoir.”
The Retail Excellence category is reserved for family businesses in the retail sector that can demonstrate success across a broad range of measures including retail experience and the ownership structure.
The judges were particularly impressed by CW Sellors ‘Christmas Wishes’ Fine Jewellery and Watch Showcase at Chatsworth House and the proposed plans for the Centre for Jewellery Design Excellence in Carsington.
