Christie’s has announced a partnership with Will Kahn to curate its upcoming Magnificent Jewels auction in New York.

The editor, stylist, consultant, and creator of WillsNotebook will provide his creative eye to Christie’s jewellery assortment across multiple platforms and touchpoints for the 13 April auction.

A year-long partnership between the group and the former jewellery director at Moda Operandi will then follow.

Kahn said: “As an editor in the jewelry world there’s no more exciting partner than Christie’s— the stones, the legendary designers, the history and provenance —it’s all there.

“It’s a pleasure to work with this high level of jewelry and showcase it through my editorial lens.”

The Magnificent Jewels auction will feature 217 lots, with estimates ranging from $10,000 (£7,290) to $2.5m (£1.8m).

Lexy Damianos, junior specialist at Christie’s, said: “We’re delighted to be collaborating with Will Kahn for our upcoming Jewels sales at Christie’s.

“He brings an editorial eye and adds a fresh perspective to our sales with his notes on trends and styling.”

She added: “His notebooks have become icons in their own right and we’re excited to partner with him on these special editions for Christie’s.”
