Goossens, the French heritage couture jewellery maison, has announced it will open its first London flagship boutique on 12 April 2021.
The 29 square-metre space at Burlington Gardens, Mayfair will host the brand’s jewellery designs alongside recent creations from Boucle, Talisman collections alongside the newest SS21 collection.
The London boutique features six interior design pieces: two mirrors (a Wheat mirror and a Heritage Wheat mirror), a couture chandelier made in collaboration with interior designer Anne-Sophie Pailleret, and two wall lights.
Each jewellery creation is made by hand, hammered, patinated, embellished with stones in “subtle nuances”.
The brand was founded in 1950, when Robert Goossens opened his own goldsmith atelier in the Marais neighbourhood of Paris. Building on his early experience, he launched himself into what would later become known as “couture jewellery”.
