Citizen Watch UK shakes up management team

Mark Robinson, managing director of Citizen Watch UK has been appointed to the new position of group managing director of Citizen Watch United Kingdom.

Robinson will assume overall strategic responsibility for all brands in the UK.

Robinson has been with Citizen for over 20 years holding various management positions.

For the last four years, Mark has been at the helm of the UK business spearheading the growth of the Citizen brand.

Within the new structure, Brian Gillingham, Citizen Watch UK, finance, operations and IT director – who has held management positions in the Citizen business for nearly 10 years – has been appointed to chief finance and operating officer.

In his new position, Gillingham will oversee the strategic leadership and development of all shared service operations as the business develops the multi brand strategy.

Stuart Peacock, Citizen Watch UK, sales director – national accounts, who has been at the forefront of developing and shaping the UK national sales team and partner relationships since 2001, has been appointed to the new role of chief sales officer.

As chief sales officer, Peacock will develop, oversee and lead the strategic sales planning for all brands and teams in the UK marketplace.

In addition to the executive team positions, a new senior appointment has been announced with the arrival of Matthew LeFevre.

LeFevre has been appointed as sales director of Frederique Constant and Alpina watches – he was previously at Maurice Lacroix as sales and marketing director.

Recent departures within the Bulova UK business include Duncan Harris, general manager at Bulova UK and Liam McAllister, Bulova marketing director EMEA.

Citizen Watch UK is currently recruiting replacements, and an announcement will be made soon.
