Wild Iris of Ironbridge, an independent ladies’ fashion and gift boutique, has launched its second store at The Merry Hill Centre in Dudley.
Having opened on 10 July, the store specialises in jewellery and accessories, ladies’ clothing, homeware, and handcrafted gifts and art works.
The opening follows Wild Iris’ 2019 debut in the Midlands region, and a later switch to online trading as a result of the global pandemic.
To celebrate the opening, the store provided its first 100 customers with a wish bracelet, a branded cotton tote bag, a stick of rock, a £10 off voucher, and a packet of wildflower seeds.
Toria Salisbury-Scott, owner of the company, said: “Wild Iris has proven incredibly popular in Ironbridge, so being able to bring our unique and eclectic mix of fashion, jewellery, homeware and local art to Merry Hill is beyond exciting.
“I know from what my customers tell me that they love nothing more than supporting local businesses and being spoilt for choice with unique gifts and fashion, so I’m incredibly excited to bring that offering to Merry Hill.”
Duncan Burns, marketing manager at Merry Hill, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Wild Iris to the centre, which adds to our growing number of local and independent stores that now call Merry Hill their home.
“The opening comes at a really exciting time for the centre, with a growing number of brands investing in new space as we continue to build on our retail offering for our visitors.”
