DMR launches new concept showroom in Liverpool

The new showroom presents multiple in-store VIP spaces, a private dining room for 12 guests, champagne bar, and a sound-proof media room for virtual appointments and content creation

David M Robinson (DMR) has announced the reopening of its flagship Liverpool showroom, following an “extensive refurbishment and expansion”, marking a 72% upsize in the jewellers’ existing presence in the city.

The project is DMR’s largest expansion to date and it introduces the first new concept showroom for the brand, comprising 5,478 square feet.

The new Liverpool showroom presents multiple in-store VIP spaces, including a private dining room for 12 guests, champagne bar, and a sound-proof media room equipped with cameras for virtual appointments and content creation.

The new showroom also has a dedicated 1,130 square feet Rolex showroom, in addition to an IWC espace, and it offers expanded jewellery and watch workshops for the showroom’s master goldsmith and master watchmaker.

Designed in collaboration with interior designers LXA, DMR said the choice of Liverpool One for this new concept is an homage to the brand’s home city, founded in Liverpool in 1969, and reaffirms its commitment to retail in the city.

John Robinson, managing director at DMR, said: “We are delighted to be creating a totally new luxury experience in Liverpool, the city where our journey began. This vast new showroom incorporates dedicated space for our luxury fine jewellery brand, along with a large Rolex showroom.”

Dave Rooney, design director at LXA, added: “We’re delighted to have been appointed as interior designer and project manager on DMR’s visionary plan for their new flagship store in Liverpool. The venue consists of high-end retail space, bespoke VIP lounges and executive offices. DMR provided us with a fabulous brief to reposition their brand.”

This latest Liverpool opening follows the launch of DMR’s mono brand Omega Boutique in the city in November 2021.
