Piaget has announced the appointment of Valerie Gallet to the newly created role of UK brand director, effective 1 October 2022.
In her new role, Gallet will report to Sylvain Auroux, general manager for Europe, as Piaget consolidates its position as a โkey playerโ in the watch and jewellery sector.
Most recently, Valerie was commercial director for Piaget, overseeing and developing the Middle East, India and Africa region. Overall, she has โextensiveโ international experience in Europe and the Middle East, previously as marketing director in the beauty industry.
Gallet said: โThe brand has ambitious plans to expand its presence across the UK and bring the story of itsย heritage, elegance and sense of celebration to a much wider audience.โ
The announcement follows the appointment of chief executive Benjamin Comar in 2021 and new chief marketing and image officer Fatemeh Laleh this year, as a new brand campaign is being launched this winter as the first step in an identity revamp before the 150th anniversary of Piaget in 2024.
