Luxury jeweller Patrick Mavros has unveiled his latest Pangolin Scale and Armour collection in honour of the endangered mammal indigenous to parts of Asia and Africa.

The range features pendants, scaled bangles and shield rings inspired by the protective scales which cover the animal’s skin. The pangolin is the world’s most trafficked mammal and just this September, a ban was placed on all pangolin trade.

Some 10% of the proceeds of the collection will go towards The Tikki Hywood Trust, which operates in 15 African countries, and serves to bring awareness to the plight of the pangolin.

The newest collection will be available on the Patrick Mavros website or at the store on Fulham Road.
