The Hallmark Jewellers Group (THJ) has announced Kingston Jewellers of Barnsley and Buchanans Jewellers of Lymington as new members.
THJ is an independent jewellery buying group, consisting of like-minded retail jewellers with shops established throughout the United Kingdom.
Founded in 1986 and currently chaired by Harvey Morgan of Harveys the Jewellers in Manchester, THJ Group has negotiated preferential terms and discounts with an “extensive portfolio” of brands and manufacturers.
THJ also said that consequently, membership of the group leads to “increased” business opportunities with “greatly enhanced” profits, whilst providing a “supportive” and “invaluable” network of trade experience.
Members of THJ Group have “complete autonomy” over the running of their business with no central buying and no central invoicing.
According to THJ, this means that members can run their business as they have always done, but will benefit from the “greatly improved” margins, owing to the “tremendous” discounts obtained through THJ Membership.
