Loquet London has announced the launch of its charity collaboration with Marianela Nuñez, principal ballerina of the Royal Ballet.

The capsule charity collection, which celebrates “strength, vulnerability and the passions that drive us”, features a Diamond Swan Charm as well as a Diamond Ballet Shoe Charm.

Crafted in white gold and diamonds, the Diamond Swan Charm “embodies the delicate beauty and inner strength that exist in perfect balance”.

Alongside this, the Diamond Ballet Shoe Charm is crafted in rose gold and diamonds, created to be a keepsake for “dancers, dreamers and those who seek the resilience to carry out their passions”.

The collection is created as part of the Charms for Change initiative, where a percentage of sales is donated to the Royal Ballet’s Pointe Shoe Appeal.

Every season The Royal Ballet dance through over 6,000 pairs of pointe shoes, and the Pointe Shoe Appeal helps towards covering all of the shoes required by the company, supporting the dancers of The Royal Ballet throughout the season.

Nuñez said: “Ballet shoes are an extension of my body. They take time to prepare, they become a security blanket, when you see a pair of ballet shoes, you can’t get better than that. They are so pretty.”

Loquet London was founded in 2013 by British environmentalist and columnist Sheherazade Goldsmith.
