Genderless fine jewellery brand Pattaraphan has released its Fall/Winter 2025 Collection, which is a continuation of the pre-collection motifs and theme that was launched earlier this year, highlighting the Akani (match series) and signature spiky texture pieces.
The collection is inspired by the founder and designer Pattaraphan Salirathavibhaga’s childhood. When she was young, she loved playing with matches alongside her twin sister– melting candles in her grandmother’s buddha room and trying to mold the melted yellow candle wax into a shape.
Although she could never actually do so, because the wax cooled quickly, the memory always stayed.
Fast forward to her second year of college, Pattaraphan found her calling for making jewellery and often with jewellery wax. When she remembered her childhood memory, she described it as a “full-circle moment”.
The word “Akani” in Thai translates to “fire”– the name of these designs that are inspired by the shape of a match. This collection features red garnet and emphasises texture. From match-shaped earrings, to spiky textured bracelets and necklaces, this collection debut reminds one of the “spark” that happens when you light a match.
Pattaraphan said: “This collection is a reflection of Nok’s life and teaches us that edgy, elevated designs can beautifully coexist with tokens from childhood memories. A highly edited and ultra chic collection, Pattaraphan’s Fall/Winter 2025 is a meaningful amalgamation of experiences and stories.”
