Laings flagship Glasgow store unveils renovations

The flagship store was Laings’ first venture into the Argyll Arcade; they currently have three units

Luxury jewellers, Laings has unveiled the results of its recently renovated flagship store in Glasgow.

Laings currently has seven stores in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Southampton.The Glasgow store is located at the Argyll Arcade which is also home to over 30 jewellers.

Laings said the renovation, which will help it “stand out from the competition”, has seen the store expanded to include ‘luxurious’ areas dedicated to prestigious watch brands, as well as jewellery displays.

Patek Philippe and Rolex have been given their own dedicated areas in store. The two separate spaces are decorated with the brands’ colours.

The upstairs of the shop has also expanded with a private area for the bespoke jewellery design team and the valuations service.

Claire Ross, general manager in the Glasgow store, said: “We’re absolutely delighted with our new store and the expanded size is absolutely fantastic. We’ve gained so much more selling space, allowing clients to experience a more relaxed environment and the indulgent surroundings certainly set the scene.”

“The new store look is simply outstanding. It’s a credit to our team who have continued to trade throughout the refurbishment and I know we are all now delighted to show-off the finished result!

She added: “We’re looking forward to new and returning customers coming through the door to experience what will truly be a memorable occasion.”

The flagship store was Laings first venture into the Argyll Arcade, they currently have three units, and it has already seen some changes over time. It was originally on one floor and six years ago they expanded into the upstairs space.
