Jewellery brand PRYA has launched The Padel Collection, a series of bracelets designed to capitalise on the increasing global popularity of padel.
The collection features a reinterpretation of the classic tennis bracelet, using pear-cut stones intended to mimic the silhouette of a padel racket.
The launch marks the brand’s first range crafted in 18k gold vermeil, alongside sterling silver options.
According to the 2025 Global Padel Report by Playtomic and PwC’s Strategy& team, the sport has seen a 26% increase in new clubs globally, with more than 7,000 new courts added worldwide in the past year.
The collection is comprised of three distinct designs:
- The Signature Padel Bracelet: A line of bezel-set, pear-cut stones.
- The Icon Padel Bracelet: Oval bezel-set stones featuring a pavé padel racket charm.
- The Fine Icon Padel Bracelet: A refined version utilising micro-pavé links and a smaller racket charm.
According to PRYA, the collection aims to position the brand at the intersection of lifestyle jewellery and contemporary sport.
The tennis bracelet designation originated in 1978 after player Chris Evert lost her diamond line bracelet during a US Open match. PRYA’s new collection now aims to update this sporting association for the padel community.
Arwa Hassan, co-founder and style director at PRYA, said: “The tennis bracelet is a design icon. With the rise of padel globally, we wanted to honour that heritage while creating something that feels relevant to how people live and dress today. It is intended to be versatile, effortless and modern.”
