Tag Heuer has announced three new Monaco timepieces, which are inspired by โโearly predecessorsโโ in the collection.
The Swiss watchmakerโs three models feature the Calibre Heuer 2, an inhouse manufacturing movement at its centre, and a seventies-inspired design.
The Calibre Heuer 2 is visible behind the watchโs sapphire crystal caseback and boasts an impressive power reserve of 80 hours.
Two of the models are presented on a โโa modernised metallic braceletโโ, which has been recreated for them.
Catherine Eberlรฉ-Devaux, Tag Heuerโs Heritage director, said: โโโThe bracelet is particularly important for any wristwatch โ without a good bracelet, the timepiece lacks desirability.ย
โโFor the new Monaco timepieces, we have alluded to its brilliant past with a familiar design and colour while reinforcing that the collection is moving forward with innovative new technology.โโ
