The company, which had planned to market a variety of jewellery products under the names ‘Lady Gaga’ and ‘Lady Gaga LG’, has made applications to the US Patent and Trademark Office in order to secure the trademarks. It is understood that these have been rejected, however the singer is continuing to proceed with the lawsuit, hoping to prevent Excite from filing other Lady Gaga related applications.
