Bespoke display crowns, each of which is based on a replica of the St Edward’s coronation crown, have been designed by 32 leading brands, including Paul Smith, De Beers, Tiffany & Co, Boucheron, Roberto Cavalli, Prada, Mulberry, Fabergé, Shu Uemura, Jo Malone and Lanvin.
Designers and international fashion names such as Erdem, Marchesa, Ralph & Russo, Carolina Herrara, Toujouri, J Mendel, Roberto Cavalli, Nina Ricci, Jennie Packham and Elie Saab have also contributed unique ballgown creations to the month-long event.
The ballgowns and crowns will be on display from 15 May to 15 June.
