Designer Kleshna created the poppy for the Royal British Legion (RBL) in the run-up to Remembrance Day by using contemporary crystallised enamel. The set includes a cocktail ring, crystal poppy stud earrings and a poppy bracelet, each finished in signature ‘sparkling’ style.
The stars were seen wearing the brooch while attending the Pride of Britain Awards – a ceremony honouring the unsung heroes of Britain in a glitzy commemoration of their achievements at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.
Fifteen per cent of the RRP for each piece goes to the Royal British Legion Trading Limited, which gives its taxable profits to the Royal British Legion, which is delighted by the modern take on the classic symbol of the poppy.
“We’re thrilled to be supported by talented designer Kleshna and her new range of sparkly poppy brooches, which will raise funds for the Legion’s important work supporting our armed forces,” said Samantha Horvath, head of corporate trading at the Royal British Legion.
“These stylish statement pieces are increasingly popular after being seen on celebrities including those from the X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing, and testament to a new generation supporting the Poppy Appeal.”
