Jewellery education provider, Mastered, is set to launch a new online-only jewellery master-course in partnership with Holts Academy, that will focus on building a metal jewellery business.

The firm, which provides online creative education in jewellery and fashion, aims to give jewellers both creative skills and business acumen to make a living from their talents.

The course marks the first time that jewellers have been able to get flexible education that incorporates making and business skills as well as industry opportunities. Jewellery design, home casting, metal work, engraving and stone setting, and the business of jewellery are all covered by the materials.

Jason Holt, founder of Holts Academy, said: “This is the first time Hatton Garden training has been available online, to anyone in the world.”

Perri Lewis, creative director at Mastered added: “The chance to learn high-level jewellery skills together with the business acumen to make real money from your designs is really exciting.”
