Jewellery to feature in Royal College of Art show

The Royal College of Artโ€™s has announced that its annual graduate show will be showcasing works including jewellery and silversmithing at its Battersea campus in June.The show, which will take place simultaneously across the Collegeโ€™s two campuses in Battersea and Kensington from 18 to 29 June, will feature work from all six schools including the School of Material, School of Design and School of Fine Art.

The graduate show offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the very best of emerging contemporary art and design practice, with 575 art, design and humanities postgraduates from more than 40 countries exhibiting work of exceptional quality, imagination and technical skill.

There are no admission charges to the exhibitions and much of the work is for sale or commission including jewellery and textiles. Buyers have the opportunity to invest right at the beginning of an artist or designerโ€™s professional career.

Each school will be identified by its own distinct colour scheme and graphic identity, to allow for a clear visitor experience with the School of Material showcasing ceramics and glass, goldsmithing, silversmithing, metalwork and jewellery, fashion accessories and textiles.
