Jewellery manufacturer Gecko is looking to increase its international presence having returned to BaselWorld for the first time in several years.Part of WB The Creative Jewellery Group, Gecko is showcasing alongside Domino at Basel, with collections from Fiorelli Costume and Fiorelli Silver, Fred Bennett and D for Diamond.

Children’s range, D for Diamond, is reportedly faring well in the European setting, with buyers visiting the show flocking to the children’s collection, which sees pieces inspired by a colourful London theme.

To better engage with international clientele at the show, Gecko brought on board French-speaking, Alexandra Leplat as international business development manager.

At present Gecko is sold in France, China, Germany and Sweden and is set to expand its footprint, with plans to push Fiorelli in Eastern Europe.
