The UK Jewellery Awards recognised the achievements of the great and the good of the jewellery industry last night, with two of the event’s leading sponsors netting three of the most prestigious gongs.
Around 650 figures from across the jewellery industry gathered at the Tower of London for the ceremony, which was held in the landmark’s glitzy summer marquee.
Welsh jewellery brand Clogau, headline sponsor of this year’s event and a prominent online advertiser with Retail Jeweller, the trade magazine that oversees the show, scooped the coveted Jewellery Brand of the Year accolade as well the Bridal Collection of the Year award for its ‘Compose’ range of engagement and wedding rings.
Wow! We are Jewellery Brand of the Year 2015! Feeling very proud! Thank you @UKJAwards @retailjeweller #UKJA15 #goldofroyalty

Watch Brand of the Year was netted by Citizen Watches – another frequent advertiser in Retail Jeweller. The brand also won awards in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Watch Retailer of the Year went to Watchfinder & Co, the second-hand watch traders recently profiled by Jewellery Focus in the wake of a round of investment.
The night also provided a decent haul for the marketing/PR arm of the Company of Master Jewellers, CMJ Media, which was also a sponsor and had four of its clients nominated for awards – Clogau (won), Hockley Mint (won Employer of the Year), Endless Jewelry and Diamonfire UK.
