Tiffany & Co has announced the appointment of Philippe Galtié as its new international senior vice president, effective from August 17.
Galtié began his career with a range of general management and global marketing roles at Moët-Hennessy, Mars Inc, Eridania Beghin Say and the Nestlé Group.
For the past 15 years Galtié has held positions at jewellery brand Cartier, where he worked as country head and other senior positions throughout Japan, China and the Asia-Pacific regions. His most recent position at Cartier was international retail director.
Frédéric Cumenal, CEO of the company, said: “In addition to directing all of the sales channels for the EMEA, Greater China, Asia-Pacific and Japan regions, Philippe also brings to Tiffany & Co a seasoned understanding of the global retail landscape.”
He added that this knowledge will have a “significant impact” on the oversight and management of Tiffany’s store design and strategic planning teams.
