Some £80,000 worth of watches have been stolen in a smash-and-grab raid at the Watches of Switzerland store in London’s Knightsbridge.

The incident, which took place at 9:30am on Friday, 27 November, saw two raiders riding one motorcycle break into the luxury watch store on Brompton Road, smashing the front door to gain entry.

Once inside, the men smashed a display cabinet and stole a number of watches – valued at £80,000.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Flying Squad, which are investigating the raid, said the suspects fled the scene towards Kensington. It is believed that no-one was injured.

Anyone who witnessed this incident or has any information has been urged contact the Flying Squad on 020 8785 8655, police via 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via crimestoppers-uk.org

Detectives would also like to hear from any members of public who filmed or photographed the robbery.
