New luxury boutique opens after extensive refurbishment

Mappin & Webb has opened a luxury boutique in Tunbridge Wells following extensive refurbishment.

The new 750 sq. ft. boutique features a dedicated Rolex sales area as well as a comprehensive collection of Mappin & Webb fine watches and jewellery.

The new boutique is located in a historic grade 1 listed building dating back to the early 19th Century in the Georgian colonnade of Pantiles, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England.

Mappin & Webb has renovated the space in line with the brand’s contemporary visual identity retaining key elements to highlight the jeweller’s rich heritage.

It will showcase the full range of Mappin & Webb new lines of timepieces for both men and women – the design of each drawing upon the brand’s immense heritage as a watchmaker.

Both the Clarendon and Austen watch collections refer to what Creative Director Elizabeth Galton describes as “the heyday of Mappin & Webb during the Twenties, Thirties and Forties”.

The new Campaign Watch Collection is based on the original Campaign Watch, originally created for Her Majesty’s Armed Forces in the 19th Century.

The boutique will display jewellery from iconic collections such as the Empress collection, based on a design created for the Empress of Siam, as well as the Floresco Collection, which showcase beautiful floral motifs in white gold and diamonds, taken from the brand’s extensive heritage and archive.

Also on display; the Beaumont Collection with its baguette cut diamonds pays tribute to the Art Deco era as well as the simple yet elegant Fortune and Gossamer collections, available in yellow, pink and white gold.

Clients will also be able to choose gifts from Mappin & Webb silver and diamond jewellery and gift sets.

Service facilities include watch and jewellery repair and alternations.
