Beaverbrooks has celebrated its first ‘double store opening’ as new Bracknell and Guildford premises cut the ribbon yesterday (Thursday 7 September).

The openings mark the 70th and 71st branches for the family-owned jeweller.

The Bracknell store is situated in The Lexicon shopping centre – a new 580,000-square foot retail and leisure destination located in the town centre.

The new store opened its doors to the public with a giveaway – £1,500 worth of jewellery was frozen inside a four-foot ice sculpture and customers were given the opportunity to ‘polish’ away the diamond-shaped ice to win the jewellery inside.

The Guildford store is located in The Friary Shopping centre, the largest in Guildford.

The store celebrated its launch with a TAG Heuer partnership, inviting football fans to test their sporting knowledge in a timed quiz to win a pair of Premier League match tickets.

Anna Blackburn, CEO at Beaverbrooks, said: “We’re thrilled to announce our 70th and 71st store openings in Bracknell and Guildford. With the two new locations we have identified prime shopping centre developments, providing a fantastic opportunity to expand our portfolio and extend our diamond, jewellery and watch offering to even more customers throughout the UK.”
