A new cryptocurrency brand called Dash has been named as the Headline Sponsor at the National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) Awards in December 2017.

The startup is looking to promote itself to UK jewellers and gold dealers, in hopes of becoming a common form of exchange in the UK.

The company is looking to “partner with and support the jewellery and gold sector” in adopting its services, and is inviting companies to become merchants of the digital currency.

Dash features instantaneous send, meaning monies can be transferred instantly with low fees, including potential savings in credit card fees for companies.

Ryan Taylor, CEO, announced the launch of the next goal at a conference on 4 October, revealing the company’s plans to become easier to use, with a simple click.

Dash launched in 2014 and has seen growth from £1 a ‘Dash’ in Jan 2015, to £250 today.
