Goldsmith Mark Lloyd unveils new collaborative limited edition brand

Goldsmith Mark Lloyd and nail artist Kirsty Meakin have launched a limited edition jewellery brand: “Kirsty Meakin X Mark Lloyd”.

Hand-made in Mark Lloyd’s UK based workshop using 925 solid sterling silver on a 925 silver classic 18” curb chain, laser inscribed with Kirsty’s unique skull logo on the front and on the reverse laser inscribed with the brand’s name.

The pieces were oxidised to enhance the look of the product, and hallmarked by the Goldsmiths Hall assay office in London.

Mark Lloyd is an international jeweller and fellow of The Institute of Professional Goldsmiths with over 36 years of experience.

Mark Lloyd said: “I was introduced to Kirsty through local film producer Adam Bouabda. As soon as I met her I thought she was the perfect person to collaborate with. She is full of enthusiasm for what she does! That made collaborating with her exciting.

“When we looked at other collaborations and how they were we noticed that a lot of people didn’t really care about the quality of their products. Kirsty and I wanted to make sure that our products were handcrafted in precious metal. We wanted to offer a premium product.”
