The British Academy of Jewellery (BAJ) has announced that it can now offer visa sponsorship to international students who wish to apply for a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Jewellery Design and Production.

Recognising the importance of fostering global talent and diversity within the jewellery industry, this sponsorship opportunity aims to remove barriers to support aspiring jewellery designers from around the world in accessing “world-class” education and training.

The BA (Hons) Jewellery Design and Production programme at BAJ encourages innovation, while providing students with practical skills and theoretical understanding essential for success in the jewellery industry.

Current BA students have engaged in many projects, such as the ‘Welcome to London’ project, the ‘Love Letter To’ Valentine’s exhibition and sale, and the Fine Jewellery Project with luxury jewellery house Graff.

Sharjeel Nawaz, principal at the British Academy of Jewellery, said: “We are excited to extend our support to talented individuals from across the globe who have a passion for jewellery design.

“Our BA (Hons) programme offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to nurture creativity, technical skills, and industry knowledge. Through these sponsorships, we aim to empower international students to pursue their academic and professional dreams in jewellery design.”
