Tayroc is set to launch an independent Student Ambassador and Mentorship Programme on 21 September.

The new scheme is aimed at supporting students and young people in finding jobs and internships, while helping them develop necessary skills and ‘on the job’ work experience.

Gemma Noble, Tayroc’s managing director and director of Lid Project, devised the initiative which will enable students to find industry placements and work.

Virtual mentorship seminars will take place monthly, allowing students to interact with various Tayroc/Lid Project teams, including social media marketing, communication and psychology.

Tayroc said: ‘‘Students will also be encouraged to take part in testing new products, taking part in focus groups and submitting ideas that will be credited and remunerated.

‘‘Students can sign up to be an ambassador using Tayroc’s social media platforms: Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin and through a partnership with Student Beans using their student number for validation.’’
