The fair—which runs until the 11 September at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre—has organised 71 buying missions, including 2,859 buyers from 64 countries and regions. Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association Ltd and the Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades and Industries Ltd, the show features group pavilions from mainland China, Taiwan and South Korea, along with special zones for name-brand and limited-edition timepieces.

Hong Kong is the world’s top import market for Swiss watch products, with imports from Switzerland totalling HK$19.3 billion (£1.55 million) from January to July – a 47 per cent increase over the same period last year.
