Allum & Sidway Jewellers, which has five stores in Shaftesbury, Gillingham, Salisbury, Ringwood and Dorchester, scooped the Family Business of the Year and Retail Excellence awards at a Bond-themed gala dinner, and was praised for its skilled staff; outstanding customer service; continued expansion with demonstrably positive growth and results; and the focus on its mission statement: ‘To inspire customers and exceed all expectations’.
The award has come as a fitting conclusion to what has been a fantastic year for the jeweller, as it has also recently picked up the South Wiltshire ‘Retailer of the Year’ and ‘The Blackmore Vale Business of the Year’ awards.
“To be honoured for our achievements amongst all the other very worthy finalists and winners is a very proud moment for us. I can’t thank the sponsors and the Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry enough for their belief and support, and for holding this event to celebrate the successful businesses of Dorset,” said managing director Jason Allum.
