One of the daughters of the Edwardian statesman and Indian Viceroy Lord Curzon, Cynthia’s jewellery is expected to fetch as much as £80,000 each.
Cynthia’s wedding to the infamous politician Oswald Mosley was attended by the very highest of society, including King George V and Queen Mary. Despite his reservations about her husband, Lord Curzon showered Cynthia with presents. Among the gifts were the pearls of his late wife, which will now be offered at Bonhams in April.
