Lord Sugar, who now has an estimated fortune of £800 million and was ranked 92th in the Sunday Times Rich List 2012, has appeared in The Apprentice annually since 2005 and recently appeared in series three of the Young Apprentice.
The watch is seen on Lord Sugar’s left wrist – the hand that is renowned for pointing at the contesters when saying, “You’re fired!”
A classic white gold timepiece, the Piaget Altiplano boasts two records in the field of the ultra-thin watches: that of the thinnest self-winding mechanical movement on the market, measuring just 2.35 millimetres thick; and that of the thinnest watch in its category, with a thickness of 5.25 millimetres.
