Jewellery chain Cookson Gold has taken inspiration from David Bowie for a new jewellery-making how-to guide.
Bowie fans can use the guide to create their own necklace inspired by the star’s legendary glam rock look with flamboyant colours, bold patterns and Ziggy-style star-shaped beads.
With ten easy steps, accompanied by images and helpful tips, fans can also buy everything they need to make the Bowie-inspired necklace on Cookson Gold’s website.
The guide was created to celebrate the David Bowie Is exhibition at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum, which recognises the rocker’s five decades-long career and features costumes, music, film, art and jewellery.
Adam Hunter, e-commerce manager at Cookson Gold, said: “So far, 2013 has been the year of David Bowie. He came back from out of nowhere with a new album and has had his career commemorated with this exhibition at the V&A Museum.”
