Kiki McDonough has launched Act II of its three-part “Night at the Ballet” jewellery collection, titled Wings Over Water.
The 28-piece collection draws inspiration from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake and features earrings, rings and pendants crafted in 18ct yellow and white gold. It follows the first release in the series and continues the wider narrative-based concept behind the collection.
Designs incorporate portrait-cut aquamarine, green beryl, green tourmaline, tanzanite and amethyst, alongside diamonds. The colour palette spans shades of blue, green and violet, with motifs intended to reflect swans on water and movement across a lake surface.
The company said diamond detailing has been used to create flowing forms across the collection, with gemstone arrangements designed to reference the ballet’s central love story.
Night at the Ballet is structured as a three-part series, with Act III set to follow later in the year and drawing on another ballet yet to be announced.
Kiki McDonough, founder and creative director of the brand, said the collection reflects her "long-standing connection to ballet and combines storytelling with fine jewellery design."
