Green + Benz renews Niessing partnership

Three products – the Round S, HighEnd S and Tapered S – will be stocked in its Manchester and Sheffield stores, with the new Small (S) collection having a more slender form and coming exclusively in platinum.  Diamonds are available from 0.07 carat, F/G colour, VS clarity.

Niessing Tension Rings are designed to safely anchor a gem in place between two points, creating a floating bridge of purest light within the clear circle of the ring. The first such ring was created by W Wittek in 1979 and became a prize-winning design, acquired by museums around the world.

Managing director of Green + Benz, Helen Dimmick, said: “Niessing Tension Rings are an iconic part of our history and they were inextricably linked to the company at the turn of the decade, but as fashions changed to more delicate, slender designs, demand slightly dropped.

“In the interim period, improved manufacturing methods lead to a continuous development of the range and the new Small designs will again become a very sellable, desirable product for the UK market at key price points. They are already being requested by customers.”
