Laing the Jewellers undergoes rebrand

Laing the Jewellers, owners of Laing Edinburgh, Parkhouse Hampshire and Parkhouse Cardiff, has undergone a wholesale rebrand.

The new design includes modern lifestyle imagery, “a blend of fresh yet classic colours and a re-styled logo designed specifically to reflect its luxury position, heritage and personality”.

Co-ordinated by creative agency Wolffe, the firm hopes the new design “reinforces the brand’s strengths and communicates two distinct facets of the sixth generation family business; on the one hand reliability, trust, quality and expertise, while on the other a cheekier, cooler and quirkier side coming through”.

In place of the classic red associated with Parkhouse and Laing Edinburgh, the new brand colours are dark blue and cream, which carry across the packaging, advertising and website. The new advertising campaigns will also reflect an edgier creative and photography direction.

Owner and chairman of Laing the Jeweller, Michael Laing OBE, said: “Whilst we’re emphatically proud of our heritage, we have been working on the enhancement of the brand to bring out our personality and show an edgier, cheekier side in order to grow the business and appeal to today’s consumer.”

Laing added: “I’m delighted with our new brand; it cleverly represents our core values, reinforces our premium position and is more on trend whilst remaining chic and stylish.”
