The parent company of Ti Sento Milano and distributor of Mi Moneda in the UK, IBB Amsterdam, has announced the appointment of Nigel Ling as its new UK country manager.

News of the appointment comes ahead of the departure of his predecessor Judith Lockwood, who leaves the company on March 7.

Ling’s previous experience includes the job of retail and licensing director for Savile Row tailors Gieves and Hawkes, and he is credited with driving the turnaround of the business that led to its successful sale. He also has wholesale management experience having worked for Dunhill, Jaeger menswear and Harrods.

Commenting on his appointment, Ling said: “I am delighted to join IBB for this interim period and am really looking forward to working closely with the teams in the market and at head office in Amsterdam.
