Domino Jewellery has reported a “significant surge of interest” in its new range of diamond jewellery, Rosabella.
The firm has seen particularly strong sales of the collection in recent months across Europe, with sales up 60% compared with the same period last year.
Rosabella, which was designed by Domino’s in-house team, offers a selection of earring, necklace and bracelet suites, but the company says its ‘Daywear’ selection of earring and pendant designs is the most popular amongst European stockists.
In a statement Domino said that while its European customers have traditionally bought semi-finished jewellery and castings from the brand, the Rosabella sales growth shows that they are increasingly interested in purchasing finished designs.
Domino has also reported increased demand in its British-made Diamond Ring Mount (DRM) collection which features a selection of semi-finished engagement, dress and eternity rings.
Laurent Nicollier, the brand’s European sales manager, said: “We have made a number of excellent contacts and are now experiencing a high-level of successful follow-up business from the trade fairs we have attended.”
Andrew Sollitt, sales and marketing director, said: “There is no doubt that the efforts of our sales team on the ground coupled with the prominence of our new stand at Basel this year has alerted many more overseas retailers to our presence and has done much to contribute to our ongoing growth.
“We shall be back at Basel in March and are looking forward to seeing further growth in Europe in 2015.”
