Spanish jewellery brand Uno de 50 has announced it will open its first UK store later this year on London’s Regent Street.
The firm agreed a 10-year lease with The Crown Estate for a 1,250 sq ft unit.
The move represents the brand’s first foray into the UK market, although it currently has over 100 stores worldwide, with locations including Paris, Milan, Barcelona and New York.
Jose Azulay, owner and president, said: “Regent Street’s global reputation for quality, heritage, style and success is synonymous with our own values, which is why this was the perfect location for us to open our first UK store.
“We’re looking forward to bringing the spirit of craftsmanship which inspired the creation of Uno de 50 to this iconic part of London’s West End.”
Uno de 50 will join an impressive line-up of jewellery retailers already operating flagship stores on Regent Street including Omega, Watches of Switzerland, Folli Folli, Liberty and Mappin & Webb.
The flagship store is set to open in April 2015.
